In 1987, Dr. Jaime Alcaraz Sintes opened the first clinic in Alicante which was exclusively dedicated to Periodontics, incorporating implant surgery in 1992. Being exclusively dedicated to these areas allows us to apply more specialised treatments and up-to-date techniques, resulting from on-going technological research and development.
At the forefront in technology, since 1997 the clinic has had the first dental surgical microscope in Alicante for minimally invasive surgery, digital systems for image diagnosis, implants of the highest quality endorsed by scientific study, rigorous micro-biological sterilisation controls, ultrasonic scalpels, Florida probe for the diagnosis and monitoring of periodontal treatments.
Since 2008, we have had the next generation Icat digital scanner with computerised processing of images for virtual surgery, thanks to the Simplant and Nobelguide software, for the planning of implants. We also have conscious sedation through anaesthetist-monitored anaesthetic surveillance.
In 2015, Dr. Jaime Alcaraz Freijo joined the Alcaraz Clinic. He has undertaken a Master’s in Periodontics and Implants at the Dentistry Faculty in Complutense University, Madrid (UCM).
